When Prashant was taken to a local doctor in Bihar by his father, he had no clue what was to come next. He then made a journey, from Bihar to Delhi and in delhi from AIIMS to Safdarjung hospital and later to Gangaram hospital when the parents of the 7 year old kid were told that the treatment he required should be quick and effective.

Prashant’s father, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar had no idea that how he would be able to help his son out of the misery and pain with a huge amount of 10 lakhs to be arranged in hand. After multiple tests, it was clear that Prashant was suffering from cervical lymphadenitis, which could be cured by a bone marrow transplant.

With the help of people who keep the happiness of others in mind as well and with the dedication of volunteers at DGF, we were successful in arranging the amount and helped a child to come back to life. Prashant’s family is more than happy now knowing that there child can again lead a normal life.

It’s never too late to take a step forward towards helping the mankind. We are taking that step every day, trying to help out people in need and spreading smiles.
